Universe Voyager: Blaster is a red, yellow, grey and black repaint of Cybertron Soundwave. Blaster is equipped with three hexagonal bomb components, any one of which can be stored inside his chest housing. Two of the bomb components feature translucent blue sections and double as shoulder-mounted or handheld guns. The third bomb component transforms into the Mini-Con Blockrock, a red and black repaint of Cybertron Soundwave�s partner Laserbeak. Blaster�s vehicle mode is a stealth fighter. His lanky robot mode is distinguished by a vague insectoid semblance, and is fairly well articulated within the parameters of Blaster�s moderately weird design. The cockpit canopy serves Blaster as a hinge-mounted non-removable shield. The original cartoon portrayed Blaster as the perpetually chirpy, sometimes vociferous, Autobot equivalent to the �uncrasimatic� Soundwave.
