Featuring a blue, red and black color scheme, Activator Starscream's robot mode features a comparatively simplified design with ball socket articulation. As with many, many of Starscream's incarnations, the Animated Starscream is a craven, opportunistic would-be despot disliked by both Autobots and Starscream's fellow Decepticons alike. Starscream's level of power is cited to be a near rival to that of Megatron---a realization which must inevitably tempt Starscream to the point of near-insanity.
